We, First City Crossfit, wanted to put together an event that would allow us to connect to the other boxes in the local community and celebrate what we all collectively love to do. As well as have a chance to give back to our local community. The proceeds of the event will be donated to CASA of Monterey, an organization that’s mission is “To train and support community volunteers who advocate for abused or neglected children placed in foster care, upholding the children’s rights while pursuing a safe and permanent home.” Here is a link to their homepage to find out more about what they do for the foster youth in our area.
