Looking for High School or College Athletic Performance Training?
First City CrossFit’s Youth Athletic Performance Training program is focused on the inspired youth athlete, age 13-21. These kids are already performing in their sport(s) of choice, and their parents recognize they have strong abilities to be cultivated.
Incorporating a CrossFit training routine is beneficial for young athletes who desire personal coaching, enhanced athleticism, and higher performance in their activities. It’s becoming more common to see these young athletes get an edge on their peers by turn CrossFit into a sports-specific training tool.
First City CrossFit’s HS and College Performance Training teaches:
- Proper body mechanics
- Identifies athletic weakness and imbalance and provides tools to address them
- Builds greater strength, power, agility, and speed
We focus on building athleticism that translates to meet the demands of any sport. This helps improve the skills required for running, throwing, catching, hitting, climbing, swimming or jumping.
Although the physical gains are solid and measurable, the intangible gains of increased self-esteem, discipline, teamwork and mental toughness can be as valuable and lasting for these athletes.
