Barbell Club (FCBC)

The First City Barbell Club (FCBC) focuses on practicing and improving the Olympic lifts, the Clean & Jerk and the Snatch, through a variety of strength work, skills and drills, and mobility work.

Open to all First City Athletes and the general public

The Barbell Club is led by USAW Sport Performance Coach and First City CrossFit Coach, Kim McCarver.

The First City Barbell Club meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm.

The Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be lead by a USAW Sports Performance Coach. Athletes will also have a third workout assigned to them and have access to the gym during our regularly scheduled gym times to perform this work on their own.
